Dipping our toes into some more bases, this time we go back to a simple base.
Simple Mud
This is a super simple basing style, perfect for a range of models. I used this on my Hobbits to great effect!
Start off by using Stirland Mud or Stirland Battlemire to create your mud base. The Battlemire will create more texture, and you can always use both to add variety to the base.
Drybrush the base Longbeard Grey once the texture paint has fully dried.
Add tufts as you desire, here I have used Autumn Fall tufts from Rival Crafts.
Finish off the base by painting the edges, here I have used Instar Pure Black. Super Glue the model to the base and you’re finished!
