In this final article, I wanted to show you how you can add colour without lots of effort!
To start with I used a simple layer of Astrogranite with the texture tool to add height to the base. Then I used 3 different colours to drybrush and add colour!
- Heavy drybrush of Screamer Pink
- Lighter drybrush of Temple Guard Blue
- Light drybrush of Blue Horror
By changing these colours, you can add whatever tone you would like to your bases! Why not experiment and share on social media using the hashtag #thehobbyroomblog to share your ideas!
Finish off the base by painting the edge, here I have used Instar Pure Black. Then Super Glue your model in place and you are done!
